Chief Electrician--

We are looking for an experienced Chief Electrician to work on board a DP3 Pipe-Lay/ Construction vessel currently operating in Nigeria.
The Chief Electrician will report directly to the Chief Engineer.

• Vessel Type: DP3 Pipe-Lay/ Construction
• Location: Nigeria
• Rotation: 6 WKS on/ 6 WKS off
• Mobilisation: ASAP
• Day Rate: 450.00 USD

Experience Required

• At least 2 years' experience in the rank of offshore Chief Electrician on-board large offshore construction / Pipe-lay vessels is necessary for this role.
• Must have Kongsberg DP Vessel experience or Similar vessel experience to the Telford Vessels.
• Maintenance of Heli-admin and Helicopter communications
• Check that any company or client's electrical / electronic equipment mobilised on board is suitable and compatible to the vessel electrical supplies.
• Maintaining a spare part stock for electric / electronic equipment
• DP maintenance

-Certificate of Competency
-National Endorsement
-Flag State Endorsement
-High Voltage
-DP Maintenance
-BST/ STCW's
-Security Awareness / DSD
- STCW Medical
-BOSIET or FOET or HUET (HUET only with BST)
-Passport (2 empty pages)
-Seamans Book
-Yellow Fever

And the following personal qualities:

• Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in English language.
• Experience with the electronic equipment onboard assigned vessel.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects.
• Strong coordination, organisation and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.
• Total commitment to carrying out safe working practices.
