RAMS & Safety Engineer - Riyadh

My client is a leading railway engineering company looking to recruit senior RAMS Engineering professionals to work a major railway programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ideal candidates will be Degree qualified and have expert knowledge of railway systems assurance, safety case management and RAMS Analysis of railway systems. Candidates must have detailed knowledge of CENELEC standards.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Check and manage compliance with safety targets
Preparation of system safety analyses (e.g. IHA)
Management of the Hazard Log; Compilation of subsystem results (according to guideline in tender)
Preparation and performance of safety verification and validation and Safety Case
Coordination with safety assessors (to be appointed)
Provision of respective safety and security documents for respective project phases (incl. Safety Cases)

Systems Analysis;

- preparation of input for Hazard Log
- Preparation of input for safety verification and validation and Safety Case
- Provision of respective security documents for respective project phases

Requirements to apply;

Degree Educated: Preferably Engineering, Science or Mathematics related.
Minimum 7 years professional experience, preferably 10 or more.
Good command of English
Technical knowledge on all major subsystems of a railway turnkey project
Reading and understanding of contractual technical requirements
Detailed knowledge of CENELEC standards in relation to railway systems projects.
