We are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 12 month contract working with a leading Engineering company based in the North West.

The successful contractor will join an existing team of EC&I Project Engineers and Designers to work on a variety of upgrades and modifications across Petrochemical and Nuclear sites.

Responsibilities for the role include:

Security Systems
Panel Design
Cable calculations
Block Diagrams
Termination Schedules
Loop Design
Control system interfaces
PLC/DCS Interface design
Hardwired ESD design
Functional Safety awareness
Vessel level calculation
Control valve sizing calculation
Installation Design packages
Instrument specification and procurement experience
Knowledge of hazardous area design and installation
Installation scopes of work
Installation Supervision and commissioning experience

Qualifications:

NC / HNC or equivalent
AutoCAD Experienced
