QC Supervisor / Qatar

Our client an Exploration & Production Company in Qatar is looking for various personnel with experience in EPCI Jacket projects. Position is for 2 months based in Offshore Qatar. All personnel should have valid OPITO approved BOSEIT & H2S Certification

Activities

To review Welding and NDT Documentation issued by the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors, with the

support of the Major Projects Welding Engineer.

Monitor welding consumables management by Contractor including consumable test report (MTRs).

Review and approved the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor.

Witness welding procedures qualification and welder ability qualifications.

Follow up the welding and NDE activities of jackets and insure proper records (welding/NDE/inspection

records follow-up).

Review and interpret all or part of radiography films in addition to the third party interpretation.

Perform UT Cross Check on critical welds.

Monitoring of ND_I subcontractor and Contractor inspectors qualification and performance.

Identification and follow-'up of any Non Conformance (NCRs).

Troubleshoot technical problems that may affect the construction and liaise with the Major Projects Welding Engineer for the resolution

o Education to HND/HTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.

o Welding qualification (AWS~ CWI / SCWI, CSWIP Grade 3.1 / 3.2 or EWIP/IWIP ~S/IWIP-C)

o NDT quantification (PCN, COf REND, CSWIP, BOAS or equivalent)~

o Certified operator level 2 for radiography.

o Certified operator level 2 for UT (all joint configurations).

o Capable to perform NDT techniques.

Professional Experience (number of years) : 15~

Experience within project : (number of years) 10.

A good knowledge of TOTAL General Specifications (GS) and International codes/standards (ISO, APE,

ASTM and ASME) related to design, fabrication and inspection.

Comprehensive knowledge in welding,, material, corrosion and NDE~

Good leadership ski.lls and good communication skills.

. Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.

Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-max`1

communications.
