Flow Assurance Specialist

Our client is looking to recruit a Flow Assurance Specialist on a long-term contract basis to work out of Qatar.

Job Purpose
·The Flow Assurance Specialist stewards all phases of Flow Assurance Engineering.
·Ensures that the Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, for all process engineering are carried out faithfully, and in a timely fashion.
·Stewards process engineering aspects of the Project with other discipline leads on the PMT, as necessary.
·Stewards the interfaces between the PMT and the EPCI contractor's organization with respect to Flow Assurance engineering to ensure quality and minimize change orders.
·The Flow Assurance Specialist scopes of work are required to progress NFE Offshore Package delivery.

Key Job Accountabilities
·Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
·Provide Technical support for the Topside/Pipeline or Jacket Packages as the flow assurance engineer.
·Responsible for coordination and closeout of cross Package Engineering related issues as requested to support each Package delivery where the Packages have limited resources.
·Report progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management
·Ensure effective communication and coordination between all packages on cross package issues.
·Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manage implantation of solutions.

Other Requirements
·Preferred Master's Degree in Engineering
·Recommended 20+ years of experience in discipline with at least five years demonstrated senior flow assurance engineering experience in major capital projects
·Experience with Offshore EPC contractors, sub- contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
·Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
·Preferred candidate to be available to work in any country where project dictates and requires support.
·A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
·Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some working technical applications.
