Materials Engineer / France

We are seeking a Materials engineer for a contract assignment within France

Duration: 3 month contract
French language skills would be preferred but not  fundamental requirement  


REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Provide technical support to the members of the team, both in the study phase and in the construction / supervision phase

- Analysis / evaluation of contractual, environmental and process conditions related to each project

- Assessment of the risks of corrosion and / or degradation of materials

- Selection of materials

- Definition of anti-corrosion strategies according to the lifetimes of the installations

- Specification of the global anti-corrosion plan

- Development of MSD (Material selection diagram)

- Writing project specifications (eg corrosion monitoring)

- Site Support

- Website expertise and writing of associated reports

- Piloting laboratories within the framework of the expertise

- Engineer or doctor in materials, speciality corrosion

- Experience (minimum 2 years) in engineering projects onshore / offshore oil and gas industry or naval

- Mastery of international standards and customers (majors) oil / gas
