Our client a Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company is looking for a role of Senior Project engineer
Activities
To promote & comply with applicable safety instruction and other Company HSE procedures in all activities
To carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices
To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality
To check the quality and consistency of the CLIENT engineering documents being imported in PRODOM. Support DCC in PRODOM Project setup as necessary
To participate in the inspections and transfer of brownfield project materials & equipment stored in CLIENT warehouses and ensure all handover milestones are completed on schedule.
To coordinate with Planning & Development, Engineering & Construction and HSE team members in addressing the Integration works concerns and queries when required
To coordinate with Field Operations team members in developing SIMOPS, tie-ins and shutdown scope, philosophy and schedule for the Integration works and site activities,
To collaborate with various cross departments to ensure timely FEED & EPC CFT preparation and readiness: Ensure consistency in various tender documentations and deliverables and ITT documents
To check that the FEED scope is developed in line with Pre-FEED and Statement of Requirements
To contribute in preparation of contracting strategies and evaluation procedure(s) for CFT
To prepare meetings with potential bidders during various stage of FEED & EPC CFT
To attend site visits during EPC CFT phase
To manage, monitor and control in liaison with MP entity all required contractual process for CFT, ensure that all recommendations are made as per the best technical and commercial terms
To actively monitor FEED & EPC CFT progress and advise on potential delays, put forward suggestions for improvements in cost and schedule
To follow, post award, the progress of the engineering works performed by the Contractor(s) and the timely issue of the engineering documents, drawings lists and document index according to the approved MDR schedule
To ensure effective and timely comments on the engineering documents by the project specialists.
To check the quality of the engineering documents prepared by the Contractor(s), and to comment and/or approve via EDMS (PRODOM) these promptly, in accordance with contract procedures and requirements.
To check the incorporation of such comments by the Contractor(s)
To organise, control and check the inter-discipline co-ordination within project teams
To organise and control regular checking of the quality of the deliverables (P&ID, HAZOP, Materials list, etc…)
To make recommendation on the necessary technical arbitration between the different disciplines in case of conflict interests and keep all parties informed
To check that the contractor obtains from the Third Party Authorities the necessary design appraisal reports, and issues all dossiers to allow project to obtain approval from the authorities concerned, prior to start-up
To ensure that the Contractor prepares and issues the engineering manual, the engineering dossiers, the mechanical catalogues and the final documentation in accordance with the contract requirements
To participate in technical reviews as appropriate:
at the basic engineering stage
at the detailed engineering stage
related to procurement/supply activities
at pre-construction mobilisation
at the construction stage
at the commissioning stage
To review that Construction schedule set by EPC Contractor is achievable while respecting SIMOPS strategy
To identify critical activities and potential bottlenecks for the progress of the works
To prepare meetings with the contractor(s): weekly and monthly meetings, variation order meetings and ad hoc meetings; and, if so required, to participate in these meetings
To collect data prepared by the specialists for the internal weekly and monthly reports, and to prepare the corresponding synthesis
To ensure proper & timely handover and close out of the projects
To report any anticipated deviations to the initial plan and propose mitigation actions to management; report to Integration Manager regularly and when decisions with an impact on the strategy of the project are needed
Qualifications & Experience Required
Engineering degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
Senior engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with at least 15 years' experience of engineering supervision on onshore/offshore oil & gas project.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings
Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with good communication skills
