Senior Mechanical Project Engineer / England

We are currently working with a  recruiting for an experienced (Chartered) Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join an existing project team working on a Top Tier Comah Chemical manufacturing site based in Humberside.

The opportunity is a long term contract, our client is looking for someone who has previous experience working on major projects from project supervision to handover. Familiarity with current standards / legislation within a Top Tier Comah chemical manufacturing environment required to enable delivery of compliant work to a high standard, within budget and within tight time constraints.

Scope of duties include:

• Project Scoping & Definition 
• Cost Estimating
• Work allocation / progress monitoring
• Equipment specifying & procurement
• Task planning
• CDM studies / Risk assessments
• Progress reporting
• Cost monitoring
• Knowledge of PER regulations 
• Knowledge of ATEX regulations 
• Knowledge of Hazardous area design and installation 
• Construction supervision / auditing 
• Project Snagging and handover
• Commissioning management
• Team player / Team motivator
• Possible out of hours working
• Flexible & hardworking 

Qualifications: Chartered Status.
