A known developer who cover a variety of projects from greenfield traditional units to RC Frame, brownfield JV’s are looking for a Technical Manager who would initially repost directly to the MD with a view of progressing and then building a department as both the region and the team grow. You could be currently at Technical Coordinator level but feel you should be fast tracked or a Technical Manager who is hungry to progress and wants no ceiling stopping you.
The right candidate is the one that has drive and desire to make a name for themselves but also wants to help a division grow. Working closely with the Commercial and Production teams you will play a major part in helping push this region forwards. Initially you will take on two of the companies sites as well as having a design and technical input in to future projects. You will get the chance to build, develop and mould your team to how you believe a technical department should run.
Although this role has a vast amount of scope to grow and develop, this business is not looking for a readymade Head of Technical or Technical Director. They want an open minded individual who is still able to be moulded to the companies’ ethos and ways of working but with the ability to lead a department given the right training.
This opportunity should be considered a project, one that you have maybe visualised as the idealistic role where you are trusted and left to do your job!
This role is about securing the right person and the business do not need to rush to do so. They have the capability to take someone on tomorrow or wait until later in the summer. This could be ideal for someone who is awaiting a bonus but is not currently happy and wanting a new opportunity
