SIMOPS & Commissioning Coordinator / Qatar

Our client have a short term requirement for a SIMOPS & Commissioning Coordinator.

The role would be based in Doha, Qatar for a duration of 4 months.

Main purpose of the role is to prepare and execute simultaneous operations where major drilling and construction works have an interface with Production operations.

The post holder would be in charge of the coordination of SIMOPS for 3 rigs and further activities such as major construction works

Post holder would also assist and support the Field operations in supervising all matters involving commissioning preparation, execution and start up preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Engineering degree

Min 15 years as Commissioning/Start up leader/Project Coordinator/SIMOPS coordinator/OTL or in Superintendent position

Strong technical background

Multi discipline management and strong experience in SIMOPS and Commissioning management with field experience
