Brownfield Senior Project Engineer / Qatar

Our client a Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company is looking for a role of Brownfield Senior Project Engineer. Based in Qatar

Account abilities

Support Senior Project Lead on DBN technical and management / coordination subjects.

Ensure project specifications and technical / contractual dossiers are in line with Client standards and project requirements.

Ensure that engineering deliverables meet overall Pre-study, Statement of Requirements and Client Technical Specifications and rules.

Support Technical Authority roles for various technical disciplines and ensure internal coordination.

Ensure that DBN project is well managed as per statement of requirement, Client specification and Contractual requirements.

Ensure that all the interfaces with the relevant parties including with the partner/regulator/3rd parties are correctly managed

Ensure that DBN project is executed in the highly safety manner, quality conformance and within schedule and budget.

Activities

Ensure and promote the application of CLIENT HSE and Safety Engineering rules and specifications.

Promote safety culture within DBN team and ensure Contractors comply at all times with safety rules.

Pursue within DBN team the HSE objectives defined by the line management.

Issue robust technical dossiers for Project CFT ensuring multidiscipline contribution and alignment.

Maintain engineering processes and procedures, work instructions and check lists.

Organize and check regularly the quality of the technical deliverables produced.

Coordination with onshore and offshore Operations team to ensure a common understanding of the project targets and a continuous collaboration in the project realization.

Support Construction and Brownfield whenever required during procurement, fabrication and installation phases.

Review & comment on Vendors deliverables and Technical Dossiers prepared by Contractors for Projects.

Ensure that the Contractors submit all deliverables on time and check them regularly to achieve CLIENT quality expectations.

Coordinate offshore activities and installation, including P Recommissioning and Commissioning phases.

Ensure an efficient progress and financial project follow-up.

Participate to coordinate the various specialists involved in the studies: HSEQ, Construction, Field Operations, Interfaces to ensure the facilities are safe, easy to operate, maintainable and inspectable.

Review & comment on Vendors deliverables and Technical Dossiers prepared by Contractors for Projects.

Carry out any other duties/projects may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline

Project Management background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil &Gas installations and project management for a similar position, with multidiscipline experiences. A previous experience in offshore projects is a must and previous experience in Brownfield activities would be an advantage.

Good knowledge of the industrial context, contract practice and Oil & Gas operations in general.

Good sense of team spirit leadership, strong interpersonal & soft communication.
