Contracts & Claims Manager – Coal Fired Power Station / Morocco

THE ROLE

I am now seeking an experienced CONTRACTS & CLAIMS MANAGER with experience of Claims and disputes to join my client, for a power station project in Morocco.

The project is a coal fire power station and this role will be for 24 months or more.

Fluent English is essential and French would be useful.

THE CLIENT

My client, is a large respected European contractor working worldwide mainly on energy related projects.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be an experienced CONTRACTS & CLAIMS MANAGER with good experience of contracts management, contract administration, claims management, correspondence, warranties etc.

Previous experience of working on new build coal fired power stations is preferred and experience in the use of EPC contracts is essential.

You are likely to be MRICS, BSc or similarly qualified either as a Quantity Surveyor or Engineer with good knowledge and experience of contracts management and claims.

You must be able to work without supervision in conjunction with the clients project manager and engineers to manage all contracts and claims issues.

Fluent English is essential and if you speak and write French too that would be preferred.

You are likely to have been trained in the U.K. or elsewhere in Europe.
