Senior Quantity Surveyor / Qatar

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Post-Contracts Manager and responsible for all aspects of the Post-Contract Administration of a number of Consultancy and Construction Contracts to a major infrastructure development program.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performance of the contracts administration aspects of a set of projects as part of the program management consultant's role on a major program of infrastructure development works

* Interfaces with all teams to meet overall program deliverables

* Drafting Contractual correspondence; Monitoring and processing Variation Orders and Addenda; Final Accounts for Consultants and Contractors; Drafting and maintaining periodic commercial and Contractual reports; Drafting Weekly and Monthly Reports

* Reporting on contract administration performance of Consultants and Contractors.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

* Successful post-contract administration of major infrastructure projects

* 10 + years post graduate experience

* Experience of leading teams

* Strong negotiation skills

* Experienced user of MS Office and project management software

* Undergraduate degree or membership of a recognized International Professional Body e.g. MRICS

* Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC

* Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills
