We are now looking for a Contract and Procurement Manager with experience from subsea tieback projects on the Norwegian Continental shelf.
Lead and be responsible for procurement activities, contract administration and contractor follow-up for SURF, SPS, and Topside activities in the project
Act as central point of contact for procurement activities for the project, leading other members of the project team related to contracts, incl. consultants.
As a member of the Procurement community. This job also includes assisting wherever required in other fields of procurement as and when required.
Based on the Procurement Policy, ensure project procurement activities in accordance with company procedures and guidelines. Perform pre-qualifications where required and lead the development of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation, evaluation procedures and contract documents for all contract packages.
Coordinate all procurement activities and contract administration of awarded contracts in project.
Contribute to develop project awareness related to the performance of procurement activities to secure project deliverables in time, of the required quality and with the overall best competitive prices
Award PO’s and Contracts in cooperation with the Procurement team, and Head of Procurement
Contribute to the general management of the project and the day-to-day administration of the project.
Participate in the project manager’s management team (MT). Participate in licence MC and TC meetings when required.
Participate in Procurement community´s activities; Assist wherever needed in Procurement related issues.
Maintain project specific procedures and guidelines related to procurement and contractor follow-up, if any.
Follow-up of consultant´s and other team member´s work related to Procurement activities.
The Compliance Rules and Principles and the Code of Conduct shall be observed and adhered to in all procurement transactions. This especially applies to the rules of conduct in relation to suppliers.
Cooperation and direct Reporting to Head of Procurement.
Participate in project license MC and TC groups as required. Strategies and Contract considerations may have to be aligned with the license partners.
Establish and maintain a professional and good relationship with the relevant supplier marked.
University degree or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years’ experience with procurement, contract administration and logistics related to offshore development / subsea tieback projects. Preferably in the Norwegian Continental Shelf NCS.
Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP and Contiki
Knowledge of Norwegian PSA Rules and regulations
Detail knowledge about the local Norwegian vendor market.
Self-going, organized and structured.
Proficiency level in management of procurement processes and use of NCS best practice and contract models.
Proficiency level in written and spoken English.
Good knowledge of suppliers, structures and dynamics in the Norwegian and the international market.
Good knowledge of project management and project administration.
Good communication and cooperation skills vis-à-vis internal and external interfaces.
Good understanding of the overall technical solutions and interdisciplinary challenges
Team worker, able to cooperate with different stakeholders and to consider multiple reporting lines.
Duration: 2 years, with option for Company to prolong the duration of the contract (start date: ASAP)
Location: Stavanger. Some travel to be expected.
