Risk Managers in London Due to a number of recent project awards my client a leading management consultancy are expanding their team and looking for a number of risk specialists to join them. They are working with the most prestigious clients and projects in London in both the Rail, Aviation and Civil sectors and require Risk Analysts and Risk Managers.If you have risk experience within the infrastructure or rail industry this could be a great opportunity for you. On offer is £45,000 - £65,000 PA plus benefits. Responsibilities will include: Facilitate identification of risks which may cause the client's Infrastructure Programme or any of its component projects or sub-programmes to fail in meeting its financial or non-financial targets. Facilitate the identification and classification of opportunities which when realised will benefit the programme. Ensure that the client's Infrastructure Programme discharges its responsibilities in meeting corporate governance standards, and that its exposure to risk is kept at an acceptable level. Advise on the development or improvement of effective and efficient tools, mechanisms and processes to manage and report on risks and opportunities, and where required, develop and implement the same Ensure that effective and timely control measures are implemented that monitor the risk situation so as to inform decision-making and enable appropriate mitigating action to be taken. Define the risk strategy which sets the context for risk management in alignment with the client's Capital Projects' policies in which risks of all types will be identified, analysed, controlled, monitored, communicated and reviewed. Champion compliance across the client's Infrastructure Programme and ensure consistent application of risk policies, principles and practices, and supporting systems and procedures; randomly check risk management and response plans to see that actions are being undertaken. Work with project, sub-programme and programme teams to ensure a consistent approach is made to the identification, assessment, analysis, mitigation and reporting of risks; ensure that risks that become issues are resolved to prevent them threatening the programme and project chances of achieving a successful outcome.
