Contract: Interface Lead Engineer / Qatar

• Identify, develop and steward closure of internal Project Interfaces for Onshore Project.
• Provide overall guidance and leadership with respect to the interfaces between Onshore Project, its ESW/EPC Contractor and client operated areas.
• Work within client groups (e.g. Operations Onshore and Operations Offshore, Terminals and Refining groups, Engineering and Projects, Commercial and Shipping, other Project Teams, EP&S and Sub-surface groups) to facilitate and coordinate internal Project Interface related activities.
• Responsible for ensuring timely Operations evaluation and approval of interface agreements required by the onshore project ESW/ Pioneer Camp/ EPC Contractors for brownfield tie-ins to piping, instrument and control systems, electrical systems and other existing operating assets including common area corridor routings. 
• The position is dynamic and requires high commitment, discipline, facilitation and negotiating skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 15 years minimum work experience as Interface Engineer or Project Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry preferably LNG.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Industry accepted Project Management Systems
• Experience with government agencies, contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities.
• Previous work experience in Qatar or with Qatar based clients is an advantage
