Tools and Systems Support Specialist / Qatar

Job Purpose: As a Systems Enhancement Specialist, you'll be instrumental in providing advanced support to our supply and end-user departments, leveraging your expertise in SAP MM functionality. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our applications support environment while adhering to established procedures.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s): Your key mandate will be to unify our SAP systems and develop a sustainable improvement plan to ensure departmental continuity. You'll spearhead multiple system enhancement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, automation, and user-friendliness within our supply processes.

Key Responsibilities:

I. SAP MM Expertise:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for all SAP Materials Management (MM) module-related matters.
• Address day-to-day SAP MM issues, including access, configuration, updates, and user training sessions.
• Compile business requirements for SAP integration and ensure adherence to standard procedures.

II. IT Liaison and Support:

• Act as the primary liaison for IT-related matters, collaborating with the IT department to implement SAP and other technological requirements.
• Provide comprehensive MM system support, resolving user queries and ensuring seamless business continuity.
• Compile and analyze data, generating reports and recommending efficiency improvements to support business performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Commercial discipline, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and/or Experience:
  • Proficiency in SAP MM and strong computer literacy.
  • Prior experience in delivering full-cycle SAP implementation projects preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years' continuous SAP experience, preferably in the oil and gas or process industry.
