Senior Legal Manager (min 20 years of experience in Oil&Gas) / Indonesia

Senior Manager Legal  
Location: Jakarta full time 

JOB ROLE  

• Manage, coordinate and direct legal activities related to contracts, agreements, commercial, projects and litigation and general affairs to ensure the interests of company are protected from a legal perspective.  

• Coordinate, review and advice establishment of common policies and standards, contract, commercial and project for company business activities in Indonesia to assure compliance with applicable international and national laws and regulations and company guidelines and standard.  

• Conduct, review and appoint the engagement of outside legal services in accordance with PTK-028 on an own-cost basis, joint account basis, and cost recoverable basis (as approved by SKKMIGAS); Monitor and  assess of the outside legal services performance to ensure legal services and process is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  

• Monitor, analyze and review all applicable and/or new regulation/guidelines; Mitigate applicable and/or new regulation impact to company ; Manage, advice and counsel Management, all company Departments, Teams and Operating Units to assure compliance with laws, regulations and procedural/guideline requirements, in line with Company policies, procedures and practices.  

• Supervise budgeting and control expenditures for legal.  

QUALIFICATION  

• LL.B or JD (required) and LL.M (preferable) degrees in Law with studies related to Corporate Law and the Oil and Gas industry.  

• A minimum 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, both as a lawyer and as a legal manager,  preferably in a leadership role and with international experience/background, fluent in English both spoken and written.
