Stormwater Specialist/Engineer
The Client
Our client is an integrated team of passionate civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers, water engineers, digital specialists and visual media artists providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors, working across ten offices in VIC, NSW, SA, QLD and the ACT.

The Opportunity
The stormwater team has substantial experience delivering anything from small local projects (paths, parks, local drainage upgrades) to major projects (large culvert crossings, bridges, highway upgrades). Working in this team will provide you mentorship opportunities to improve technical knowledge, learn from specialists in other disciples and grow as an Engineer. This role will see you:

The Opportunity

Working in this team will provide you mentorship opportunities to improve technical knowledge, learn from specialists in other disciples and grow as an Engineer. This role will see you:
- Assessing catchment hydrology, stormwater retention and treatment solutions and undertaking flood impact assessments to develop stormwater management strategies
- Managing projects from strategy through to design
- Working with councils and authorities on development of integrated water management strategies and plan
- Collaborating on multi-disciplinary land development projects and contributing a high degree of quality engineering solutions
An experienced Civil/Environmental Engineer with a proven track record successfully delivering land development projects and associated infrastructure, ready to contribute to a diverse range of projects. You will arrive with:
- Experience in design of urban drainage design, WSUD, flood management and waterway assets, dams and alternative water systems.
- Exposure to MUSIC, RORB, HECRAS, TUFLOW and/or DRAINS.
- Experience with ACAD and 12D (or equivalent)
- A keen interest in flood modelling, integrated water management planning, or environmental policy planning
- A passion for teamwork and collaboration; fostering a multidisciplinary approach to projects
- Previous experience with water authorities, local council or water corporations will be highly regarded.
- The ability and motivation to become Registered/Chartered will be highly regarded
