Urgent opening for an Operating company based in Qatar. Designation :- Maintenance Coordinator
Qualifications
- Preferred candidate should have experience supervising group of Maintenance Contractor personnel including maintenance planning & scheduling activities.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering majoring in one of the core disciplines (i.e Mechanical, Instrument or Electrical).
- Lead the execution of all maintenance support activities including the major complex tasks according to approved schedule and major jobs plan for Offshore Area to optimise the reliability and availability of assets.
- 8 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry out of which 3 years in maintenance supervisory/leadership role.
- Computer literacy and fair knowledge in SAP maintenance and material management system.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience in preparation and review of scope documents for maintenance activities and external service requirement.
- Conversant with policy and procedure, standards and specifications of company, national and international bodies.
- Adaptable to changing schedules within operating environment.
- Serve as a technical resource, operating in a technical environment with interface and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Major challenges of the role are: (1) ensure continuous availability and reliability of the Offshore Asset (North and South) through the effective implementation of the maintenance business process with inclusion and consideration of the financial and safety consequences of these systems. (2) effective supervision of all contractor personnel (@15-20 personnel at a time) during routine maintenance activities to be carried out at onshore workshop, logistic yard and other designated facilities to ensure safe execution of the activities (3) integrate & plan, co-ordination and implementation of all major offshore equipment maintenance requirements to meet the schedule requirement (4) regular and detailed high-quality communication with a diverse number of stakeholder requirements; (5) integrate Major Project SIMOPS activities to avoid base operations disruption.
- The job operates from Operational office environment with periodic times spent in the plant/workshop/vendor’s works/offshore based on needs.
