HSSEQ Advisor / Scotland

HMH are looking for a Senior HSSEQ Advisor to supplement our existing team. 

The business has recently relocated to Kintore, Aberdeenshire, travel will be required to the previous site in Kirkhill, Dyce, therefore must be able to drive.
 

• Support HMH line management in practical HSSE and legislative matters like safety inspections, risk analysis, safe job analysis, travel security, emergency planning, risk assessments and incident follow-up
• Plan, conduct and co-ordinate internal audits, investigations and inspections
• Anchor global initiatives locally
• Local emergency response plans
• Supporting PUWER and COSHH assessments, particularly with new facility  in mind (lots of new machinery, including welding and CNC machines which we haven’t had before)
• SEPA discharge consents
• Extraction systems – condition assessment
• Noise level assessments
• ESG reporting
• Observation card monitoring and follow ups
