Job Description – Marine Facilities Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties including finalization of Engineering, Completion, Commissioning and assistance to Start Up of:
• Structural hull
• Bases
• Pressing
• Pressure Systems (Incl. Vessels)
• Lifting points
• Combustion Air System
• Exhaust gas system
• Sea water cooling and circulation system
• Fuel Supply System
• Fuel Purification System
• Loading, transfer, lubrication oil purification
• Ground socket panel
• Navigation and signaling light panel
• Systems and instruments for flight control and landing
• Channel deliveries
• IBS Integrated Bridge System
• Ship Management Systems
• Navigation Systems
• Internal Communications
• TV and Recording Systems
• Subsea Communication Systems
• Active Sonar Systems
• Passive Sonar Systems
• Hydrographic Sonar Systems
• Overflow pipes, air vents and probes
• Air conditioning
• Sea water auxiliary services (General Service SW)
• Scuppers and deck drains
• Hygienic sanitary drainage
• Exhaustion and ballast service
• Fresh water services
• Auxiliary fresh water refrigeration systems (LT)
• Fuel transfer/loading/unloading service (F76 diesel fuel)
• Storage and handling of special fuels/lubricants
• Compressed air service
• Compressed gases
• Gas mixture systems
• Fire extinguishing systems
• Surface unit stabilization systems: anti-rolling & anti-heeling
• Sea refueling system
• Material/equipment handling systems
• Systems for the movement and storage of anchor windlass and chain washing vehicles
• Boat handling systems and related arrangements
• Various systems with mechanical movement
• Special Systems
• DRASS saturation diving system
• Hull designation and tagging
• Doors
• Windows
• Painting
• Hull protection systems and systems from corrosion
• Living areas
• Service areas
• Areas relating to the health service
•Crew service areas
• Area for waste treatment/disposal
• Workspaces
• Storage spaces
• Sea trials
Also requested to:
• assist in watch keeping facilities routines at desired time by the chief engineer.
• assist in all kind of facilities problems.
• prepare all non-electrical test memoranda

• Support to Installation Activities
• Support to Mechanical Completion Activities

Education
Degree in Engineering or equivalent
experience

offshore development projects including
onsite construction activities
