OCC/SCADA Senior Engineer (Rail) - MENA Region

Supporting a leading consultancy firm specialising in the development and management of prestigious rail projects across the MENA region, who are currently seeking a Senior OCC/SCADA Engineer to contribute to the success of a high-speed rail project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the OCC and SCADA systems for the high-speed rail project.
• Lead the technical aspects of OCC/SCADA system integration within the overall project framework, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with other subsystems.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance safety within the OCC/SCADA environment.
• Monitor and control train movements, signaling systems, track conditions, and other critical aspects of railway operations from the OCC.
• Conduct regular troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimisation of OCC/SCADA systems to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure full compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in OCC/SCADA engineering, preferably in the railway or transportation sector.
• Strong expertise in integrating OCC/SCADA systems with other subsystems such as signalling, communications, and power supply.
• Experience with automation technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity measures within the OCC/SCADA environment.
• Fluent in English

• Regional experience is preferred.
