Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager / Netherlands

This main contractor are a respected construction firm specializing in delivering complex projects across Europe. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on client satisfaction, they are refurbishing a prestigious hotel project in Rotterdam, with a budget of 30 million euros. To lead the mechanical and electrical aspects of this project, they are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality results.

Position Overview:

As the Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager for this hotel refurbishment project in Rotterdam, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical systems throughout the project. Collaborating closely with the construction team and subcontractors, you will ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project, meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical systems installation for the hotel refurbishment project.

·Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop detailed MEP designs and specifications.

·Manage procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budget.

·Supervise onsite installation activities, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

·Coordinate with other project stakeholders to resolve any MEP-related issues or conflicts.

·Monitor and track MEP project progress, providing regular updates to the project team.

·Conduct quality inspections and testing of MEP systems to ensure functionality and performance.

·Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

·Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical systems for large-scale construction projects, preferably within the hotel sector.

·Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.

·Knowledge of MEP design principles, building codes, and industry standards.

·Familiarity with MEP software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MEP modeling software).

·Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.

·Fluency in English; Dutch language skills would be advantageous.
