Seeking highly qualified and experienced Independent Safety Assessors for an upcoming freight rail project based in the UAE. This project presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a vital transportation infrastructure in the region.

Director - Independent Safety Assessor:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in the rail industry.
• At least 10 years of experience specifically in managing Independent Safety Assessments on railway projects of a similar size and complexity.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East would be advantageous.

Project Manager/Lead Assessor:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in a railway safety-related role.
• A minimum of 5 years conducting Independent Safety Assessments.
• At least 10 years of experience overseeing the management of railway safety assessments for projects of similar size and complexity.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East would be beneficial.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong technical knowledge of railway safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive Independent Safety Assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to project stakeholders on safety-related matters.
• Developing and implementing safety management plans and procedures.
• Collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate safety risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation and standards.
• Reporting directly to project leadership and providing regular updates on safety performance.
