Mechanical Design Engineer / England

Job Description:
Client is a leading player in the chemicals industry.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with proficiency in Inventor Software and a strong background in 3D design of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Utilise Inventor Software for the design, modeling, and simulation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
2. Develop detailed 3D designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to optimize design concepts and ensure seamless integration.
4. Provide technical expertise in the evaluation and selection of materials, components, and suppliers.
5. Conduct thorough analyses, simulations, and testing to validate and optimize designs for performance and reliability.
6. Generate comprehensive documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus on 3D design.
3. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Software is essential.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment design principles.
5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in the chemicals sector.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
