Industrial Hygienist

• The Industrial Hygienist establishes and stewards an industrial hygiene (IH) audit program for the Onshore Project in line with Project and QatarEnergy LNG policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to incident investigations related to occupational illnesses to ensure accurate root cause analysis.
• Provides leadership in establishing project oversight of EPC CONTRACTOR(s) management of its industrial hygiene program including development of a health risk assessment, monitoring plans, exposure assessment and health surveillance.
• Conducts audits of EPC Contractor’s IH program to ensure compliance with the project requirements, industry standards and legal requirements.

 
·        BSc in Health Sciences (Occupational Health, Public Health, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene), Chemical/Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Health/ Biological Sciences.
·        International certification or training in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, (e.g.: NEBOSH IGC in Occupational Health and Safety, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
 
·        10 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene.
·        International experience in major oil & gas or construction projects.
·        Knowledge of OSHA, ACGIH, NIOSH or other relevant regulations and guidelines.
