Construction Coordinator Mechanical/Pipe - Ethylene / Qatar

Ability to read, understand mechanical and pipe drawings and work practices.
Reviews work packages and interfaces with Contractor on constructability.
Reviews and conducts readiness checks for pre-Hydro completion, participate in testing and sell off phases.
Stays on top of the day-to-day work in the field, continual presents and work directly with contractors’ field supervisory.
Develop strategies with EPC contractors on installation sequence, methodologies, Tool/Equipment requirements etc.
Ensure that all specialty Tools/Equipment’s have been considered.
Interface with QA, ITP plans and work resolutions.
Ensure CPY approved procedures are used/followed by the Contractor at site.
Understands schedules and will work to address issues promptly to avoid impacts.
Issue daily and weekly reports as directed.
Understand Progress measurement strategies and work to insure accurate reporting.
Promote Safe Working Practices. Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented, ability to stop unsafe work.
Participate in Site Safety Walkthroughs and Inspections.
Walk down with Contractor and Operation for Mechanical Completion system turnover and identify deficiencies for punch list to categorize.
Ability to punch list systems and stay on top of actual work completed.
