Qualifications
Bachelor is Degree in Engineering / Science or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience
6 years’ experience in safety operations within oil and gas industry.

Technical and Business Skills
Excellent written and oral English skills.

Computer Literacy.
Developed interpersonal, analytical and planning skills.
excellent written and spoken English skills is required
experience in safety operations and writing safety procedures is a must also

JOB DETAILS
Job Purpose
Ensure effective implementation of Safety Procedures and Programs, and provide advice and guidance to employees and contractors in order to achieve Incident & Injury Free work place in the area of responsibility.

Key Job Accountabilities - I
Plan & coordinate activities of safety personnel in the area of responsibility.
Support continuous enhancement of safety culture by leading by example, coaching and advising personnel on safe behaviours and practices.
Implement approved safety objectives in the area of responsibility.
Implement approved inspections regime for safety equipment in the area of responsibility to ensure safe use of all equipment. 
Act as Facilitator for Safety Incident Management supporting department objectives.

Key Job Accountabilities - II
Facilitate Asset Safety tours and SHE committee meetings for the department.

Lead and participate in investigation of assigned safety incidents and report to management.

Ensure asset specific trend analysis are conducted and regularly discussed with management and personnel for the department.
Conduct safety assessments ensuring compliance with safety procedures and programs.

Participate and contribute to Hazard/Risk assessments including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Formal Risk Assessment (FRA ) and Risk Register reviews.

Participate in Emergency drill and Exercises and support real emergencies as DSR (Duty Safety Representative) supporting department objective
