Protection and Controls Engineer (USA Resident) / USA

Seeking a REMOTE Lead P&C Substation Engineer. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic engineers with a startup mentality who are ready to grow with us.

Description:

• Lead in preparation of proposals and scope development
• Leading project teams
• Conceptual designs and execution plans
• Engineering/project cost estimates and schedules
• Performing, leading teams, and QA/QC in protection and control design including panel arrangements, one lines/single lines, three lines, AC schematics, DC elementaries, equipment wiring and relay panel wiring
• Calculations and QA/QC for studies and reports (grounding, lightning protection, AC/DC load studies, etc.)
• Develop and improve processes, tools and/or technology implementations
• Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BSEE in an ABET accredited school
• Professional Engineering License (PE) highly desired
• Strong experience in Protection & Controls design in substation engineering - SCADA or Relays
• Resides in the USA and able to work in the USA without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience with a focus on Protection and Controls design
• Experience in leading projects and teams, and mentoring less experienced engineers
