Location: Paris, la Defense (up to 12 months) followed by the EPSCC location in Europe, Asia or Middle East (To be determined).

Dimension
To coordinate, prepare and administer the whole contracting process – for the main LPG contract - in compliance with Project procedures and with due respect to approved schedule and milestones.

Activities
To coordinate, prepare and administer the whole contracting process – for the main LPG contract - in compliance with Project procedures and with due respect to approved schedule and milestones. This includes:

• Coordination of tendering dossiers (technical Exhibits, T&Cs), of the CFTs, the
participation to and administration of the clarification / negotiation phases, the
evaluation of contractual and commercial proposals and the preparation, in duet with
the Packages Manager, of the final Recommendations to Award
• Coordinate with the different entities with/for: TGP, Legal, DARAG, Market Intelligence,
etc
• Administration of the final set of contractual / commercial / technical documentation for
the assigned contracts; preparation for signature of the assigned main contracts
• After award, to contractually and commercially administer the awarded Contract and
liaise actively with the technical management of Contractor
• As a general manner, to administer all contractual and commercial activities related to
Contract he / she is in charge of, up to close-out, in the frame and with respect to
procedural obligations as per Agreements with Ugandan Authorities, Decrees and Laws
in force, Partners Agreement and in strict compliance of delegation of authorities and
associated Contract and Procurement procedures
• Ensure consistency & adequacy of documents such as Performance Bonds, Bank
Guarantees, Invoices, Insurance certificates, Sub-contracts, Confidentiality
Undertakings Preparation of official correspondence with Contractor
General
• Assist the team in complying with Ugandan Law on aspects related to the Procurement
processes
• To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard H3SE and H3SE rules
implementation
• To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to Ethics and project “code
of conduct” policy
• To participate to meetings with partners, authorities and other stakeholders as required
• To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position

Context and environment
Green Field Project. Remote location in UGANDA with particular sensitive environmental
conditions.
Huge onshore challenging project; heavy and waxy oils produced from 31 drilling pads,
(with some of them located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of
200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bld of water treatment capacity
Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection or by polymer water
injection depending on the reservoirs characteristics.
The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature
preservation.
Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be located in various parts of
the world. Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical
authorizations as well as International codes for onshore plant will apply.

Accountabilities
To achieve the Contract Award and administration of the LPG activities fit for the purpose and in compliance with the budget, work time schedule, HSE Optimum Requirements, level of quality and Contracts documentation and applicable.

Laws and regulations
Qualifications/Experience required:
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, Commercial or Engineering, ideally with a
post-graduate qualification in a complementary discipline
• Experience in similar position
• 15+ years’ practical, relevant and progressive experience in preparation, negotiation,
monitoring of complex technical
• contracts in the onshore and offshore oil or petrochemical industries. International
project experience
• In depth knowledge and understanding of different means of contractor remuneration
and their commercial implications, practical experience of their use.
• Must be eligible to work in France
• Knowledge and understanding of project services and contract processes including
management, amendment & close out of contracts.
• Demonstrable general knowledge & understanding of project control, commercial, legal
and insurance issues affecting the Company in general.
• Basic understanding of the technical domain in which the Project operates.
• Good interpersonal, communication, managerial & organizational skills, capabilities to
take workload & work under pressure, able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Take proper actions & decisions to respect targets, including reporting to his/her
manager.
• Ability to adapt & to represent the Company in discussions / negotiations with
Contractors.
• Ability and willingness to effectively and robustly challenge the views of contractors,
suppliers and internal contact, and negotiate reasonable settlements whilst maintaining
good relationships and sharing expertise and knowledge as appropriate.
• English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
