Project Management Consultant / United States

Project Management Consultant based in Beaumont, TX or Houston, Tx. 
The ideal candidate will have project management experience in an industrial, operating environment, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry. The candidate will also have experience developing, updating, and managing, a project management system; including developing manuals, procedures, templates/go-bys, etc. for small and large project execution.
Infrequent trips to Beamont, Tx will be required for Houston based staff.

Start: ASAP. 1 yr Contract
 
Primary Responsibilities:

1. Update Project Management Process to allow flexibility and scalability for both small and large projects as well as High and low complexity projects by Q1 2025,
2. Develop templates/go-bys for Project deliverables.
3. Develop process workflows for Project Management elements based on Project category.
4. Work with 3rd Party to develop training material and rollout revamped process to organization.
5. Support development of Project Execution Strategies

Skills and Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Project Management with in-depth knowledge of Project Management work process and deliverables
• Experience applying Project Management “best practices” in practical situations.
• Experience building and/or managing a Project Management Office (PMO)
• Project Management experience at operating oil and gas facility on capital and expense projects.
• Knowledge of project cost estimating and scheduling techniques
• Microsoft suite of software.
• Leadership, Planning, and coordination skills
• Excellent team working and collaboration with cross functional teams
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
