The Opportunity

Working with multiple Oil & Gas Majors around Perth, the first key project awaiting your expertise is an offshore decommissioning endeavour. Here, you'll lead structural analysis, design for safety, and the development of lifting and rigging plans for existing structures.

Based in Perth on a permanent basis, with occasional site visits to address structural corrosion, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and progress in the field. Key Responsibilities

Providing technical leadership across the structural discipline, your responsibilities include:

• Driving structural engineering excellence across all project phases including conceptual design, front end engineering, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and operations, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.
• Development of groundbreaking solutions, leveraging deep engineering expertise in areas such as concrete supports, structures, skid design, and structural principles.
• Overseeing structural construction scopes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality standards.
• Playing a crucial role in team expansion and the professional development of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
• Exercising keen oversight by reviewing analysis models and calculations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Tackling intricate structural analyses head-on, addressing complexities with precision and expertise.
• Preparing and meticulously reviewing assessment reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights.
• Taking the lead in managing key client relationships and expanding the client portfolio, driving business growth and sustainability.
• Leading the charge in crafting winning bids and proposals, showcasing the teams’ expertise and capabilities to prospective clients.

About You

• A Chartered Structural Engineer, or are actively pursuing it, showcasing your commitment to excellence and professionalism.
• Your track record includes delivering top-tier structural engineering services within the Australian Energy & Resources sector, particularly on onshore/offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• A proven track record in building and maintaining key client relationships.
• A strong communicator with excellent analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Space Gass software.
