You will take part in the Porvoo refinery transformation to renewables as well as refinery projects in Porvoo, Singapore and Rotterdam.
In the role of Project HSE Manager , you will report to the Manager of Project HSE in Finland.
Your main responsibilities include
- Responsible that legislative and company HSE requirements are implemented accordingly in investment projects
- Consult project team and other stakeholders in process safety and fireproofing issues
- Facilitate process hazard analyses (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA) and other PHA studies in investment projects
- Lead and report HSE activities of investment projects, facilitate trainings and actively communicate HSE related issues to the project organization and other stakeholders
- Manage and supervise HSE consultants
Keys to success in this role
The best combination of education and experience is
- Experience with Process Safety in engineering or in industry (5+ years)
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemical/Process engineering
- Thorough understanding of process safety, risk management of high hazard chemical process industry
- Good competency facilitating process hazard analysis (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA)
- Ability to organize and lead HSE activities in investment projects
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability & Supiervise Manage HSE Partners.

- Thorough understanding of fire hazards and fireproofing practices in high hazard chemical process industry
- Experience of consequence analysis modeling
- Previous experience in leading HSE contractors in complex project environments
- Fluent Finnish skills
- Ability to learn new with a can do attitude
- Thorough understanding of investment project lifecycle
