"TRS is urgently looking for a Vessel Equipment Engineer with Vertical Lay System Equipment, Pipeline, Heavy Lift experience, and Leading a team of the multiple people join our Client's Offshore project team Onboard JSD 6000 Vessel based WORLDWIDE.”

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Carry out maintenance and control of all the mechanical production equipment.
  • Ensure the efficiency of the production equipment.
  • Prepare the appropriate maintenance plans and associated spare parts.
  • Manage the deck mechanic team in compliance with the Company safety and quality procedures.
  • Manage the production equipment ensuring its continuous operation through ordinary/extraordinary maintenance and repairs.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Vertical Lay System Equipment experience Onboard Construction Vessels and experience in managerial position.
  • Experience with vertical lay system equipment.
  • Experience offshore.
  • Experience in leading a team of multiple people.
  • Experience with instructing, directing and supervising the activities of Offshore Foreman.
  • Experience with Hydraulic diagram reading and interpretation of complex systems.
  • Experience with the maintenance of engineering system for record and predictive maintenance, material requisition issuer.
  • Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET.
  • Mandatory requirement STCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement.
  • Have experience as a Seaman and knowledge of Maritime rules and regulations.
  • Good spoken and written English.
