Your responsibilities
Our requirements
- Support the Proposal Manager to develop the best economical & technical solution adapted to the final customer requirements (budget, planning, scope, final technical solution etc.), challenging all the stakeholders to ensure the best company competitiveness,
- Provide input to the technical proposal, to the validation of the price and to the definition of the contractual frame,
- Develop the winning project execution strategy,
- Participate in risk assessment and suggest risk mitigation actions,
- Participate in negotiations with client,
- Ensure the compliance with company rules and systems and with any applicable external rules and guidelines,
- Ensure effective handover from Development Phase to Execution Phase,
- Ensure excellence in Project Execution management to deliver companys commitments for client satisfaction as defined during the Handover (Technical Performances, Capex, schedule, quality, risks, safety etc.),
- Provide exceptional service in Site Activities (construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning) execution with timely start-up without incident,
- Prepare the Project Management Plan,
- Define roles and responsibilities and provide clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit to that vision,
- Evaluate resources and required skills to ensure excellence in the Execution,
- Lead and coordinate the interactions between the various stakeholders of the project to ensure the overall Performance, Quality and Integrity of the Plant up to the transfer to client,
- Ensure a fit for purpose design of the plant,
- Manage and monitor project performance on an ongoing basis to identify issues and opportunities at an early stage and take preventive action accordingly,
- Monitor and control all cost aspects of the project to forecast costs, identify trends and take proactive action to avoid cost overruns and take advantage of opportunities,
- Identify and monitor closure of project risks and opportunities, maintaining the risk management focus throughout the project duration,
- Accurate, timely & effective progress reporting to Management Team,
- Effective management of client and supplier contracts (changes, close-out ect.),
- Work with team members to visibly support and comply to the company Safety First policy and ensure that HSE requirements are followed by all project participants,
- Prepare and conduct the capitalization review.
Our requirements
- Engineer Diploma (science or engineering) or Master in Project Management,
- High professional with at least 10+ years demonstrable relevant experience in international Project Management with similar EPC/PMC contractors within the Oil and Gas Sector, out of which the last 8 years must have been as a Project Director managing an EPC/PMC,
- Broad understanding of the business drivers for oil and gas clients,
- Focus on customer relations,
- Technical knowledge related to the project scope and ability to understand applicable specifications and standards,
- Broad understanding of the main project execution interfaces (engineering, procurement, site activities etc.) to be able to anticipate and address efficiently the challenges,
- Analytical & Strategic thinking to take quickly and effectively the right decisions from the available information,
- Strong negotiation skills in dealing with Suppliers and/or EPC Contractors while exercising absolute control on the work,
- Team player with strong influential leadership skills, interpersonal skills and drive to manage, direct and guide multicultural teams to achieve the PROJECT objectives,
- Strong Safety orientation (demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment),
- Results oriented with proven cost and budget management abilities,
- Autonomy in decision making,
- Proven ability to manage priorities and work under pressure,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Fluent in English,
- Willingness to travel (around 20-30% of traveling throughout the year).
