As an HSE Professional, you'll play a crucial part in inspiring teams, enhancing safety performance, and fostering a strong safety culture by joining safety initiatives on international offshore wind and energy projects or contributing to the success of being part in infrastructure projects in the Netherlands

Function description

• Overseeing entire projects, balancing conflicting interests, guiding and assisting where necessary, and coaching based on your expertise.
• Support the Project HSE Team, analyze current HSE performance, and provide a vision for elevating projects to new safety levels.
• Continuously improve safety awareness and culture while ensuring that safety policies and objectives are known and adhered to by all project members and subcontractors.
• In the Netherlands, your responsibilities will range from assisting your team to planning HSE objectives and priorities, to maintaining the project action tracker.
• You will be assisting in preparing, implementing, controlling, and maintaining the project Permit to Work system, introducing and instructing project personnel, subcontractors, visitors and others and advising on HSE-related matters.

Requirements

• Relevant wo/hbo degree, preferably in civil engineering, with additional qualifications in higher safety engineering or change management.
• Experience in a similar role with complex projects, project management, or HSE.
• Flexibility and a mindset for global deployment on a rotation basis.
• Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Leadership, decisiveness, and excellent communication skills.
