HSE Manager / Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Manager to lead our clients Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the protection of our environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and drive a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee incident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote HSE awareness and compliance.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant HSE legislation and best practices, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.

• Proven experience as an HSE Manager
• Minimum of a Cert IV in OH&S
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (Desirable)
• Proven experience in Auditing 
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices with a thorough understanding of ISO9001
• Demonstrated leadership skills, fostering a safety-first culture and driving positive change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Analytical mindset, capable of identifying trends and implementing effective strategies.
