Primary Objective

Provides Company Representation and Supervision on worksite for subsea operations and is accountable for the subsea implementation of Programme in a safe and efficient manner. Has accountability for timing and costs and to ensure as little operational or production downtime as possible is incurred.

Supervision

• Provide subsea supervision for the site implementation of the Programme.
• Supervises all subsea service companies involved with completion, testing and well services operations during the onshore equipment preparation and offshore execution.
• Responsible for any subsea SIT supervision and planning.
• Provides input into work instructions.
• During Subsea activities lead pre-shift & pre-major operation toolbox talks / JSA’s.
• Participates in with rig based After Action Reviews.
• Prepare and review tallies for equipment run and recovered for Subsea related operations.
• Liase between MODU personnel and service companies during planning and installation of well construction.
• Review rig kedge plans and provide input for Subsea equipment deployment and ROV operations relative to Subsea infrastructure.
• Responsible for subsea related simultaneous operations conducted on the MODU.

 Qualifications & Skills

• TBOSIET
• In depth knowledge of Subsea Services, Well Services, Completions, Drilling and Offshore Supervision.
• Good communication skills keeping direct supervisors informed when working on stand-alone scope of works.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with a Subsea Equipment Vendor in an operational role.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a subsea supervisor with operating companies.
• Subsea completions experience within the last two years.
• Preference of knowledge and experience in design and running of vertical trees and working in Australia.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision when required (i.e. remote dealings with contractors, etc.).
• Safety management system understanding and implementation skills.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• High proficiency with IT and industry software (i.e. MS Suite, etc).
