The Role:
Our client is looking for someone who can deal with the Design complexities of large-scale bridge projects for major key clients.

Bridges and associated motorway infrastructure such as retaining walls, culverts and sign gantries
MRWA/PTA D&C and Alliance projects
rail viaduct structures and level crossing replacements
Architectural long span lightweight pedestrian bridges
Working within a multidisciplinary design team delivering major public infrastructure projects
Conducting detailed structural integrity studies and condition assessments

About You:

Bachelor of Engineering (University Degree) in Civil Engineering with a Post Graduate Qualification in Structural Engineering preferred
3+ years experience in the detailed design of bridge/heavy civil structures
Experience designing bridges to PTA and/or MRWA standards and specification
Experience in the use of FEA (LUSAS or Strand7), SPACE GASS, VBA, AutoDesk and/or Bentley products
Exposure to design/drafting suing Revit and AutoCAD
Must be able to work independently to complete engineering calculations and project deliverables
You must be a resident and have the right to work in Australia
