Contract: Intermediate Project Manager / Calgary

Job Title: Intermediate Project Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Mon-Fri (40 hours/week)
Length: 6-12 months (possibility for extensions based on performance and project activity)
Start Date: January 2023
Job Description:
Requires general to mature engineering knowledge while managing deviations from standard methods while more senior individuals will manage the coordination of difficult and impactful assignments by utilizing new approaches to come up with solutions to unusual problems and resolving most conflicts. Projects range from anywhere between $100,000 to $10 to $15 MM - and typically between 2 to 10 months time frame. Projects will primarlly be industry digs, valve replacements, geotechnical. Projects are spread throughout Canada and will required occasional site visits, but candidates must be based in Calgary. Successful candidates will manage and forecast cost estimation, purchase orders, and release orders, and will be managing several internal stakeholders including land, regulatory, and construction.
Qualifications:

• Project Management experience required (preference on Pipeline Integrity)
• Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma preferred
• PMP designation preferred (but not required)
