They currently have an opportunity for a cost management professional to join the growing Melbourne team. This role is ideal for an engineer / quantity surveyor (QS) with cost planning and quantum claims experience looking to elevate their career and build their leadership experience, working closely with the directors to lead a growing service.
The role will assist with leading the cost management team on a variety of projects in the engineering and/or construction sectors.

The role will assist with leading the cost management team on a variety of projects in the engineering and/or construction sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality cost management services across the project lifecycle on building and infrastructure projects
- Cost planning and estimating using CostX or similar
- Prepare and review technical reports
- Complete quantum claims analysis and associated reports
- Lead and mentor junior employees and increase Cost Management expertise within the business
- Secure and deliver new business opportunities
- Member of the Senior Management Team responsible that contributes to the success of the Melbourne office
- 10+ years' experience in cost management, planning, quantity surveying, and quantum claims roles
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree
- MRICS or AIQS status is beneficial but not necessary
- Strong cost management experience, including estimating, cost planning and cost claims experience
- Excellent communication skills including report writing
- Experience working in a consultancy or advisory environment
- Experience engaging directly with clients and managing client expectation
