The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking an Asset Integrity Inspector/Technologist/Engineer in Lloydminster, AB/SK. This is expected to be a multiyear contract.
Reporting to the Manager of the Lloydminster Integrity Management Site Execution team, this position will ensure that the requirements of our registered Pressure Equipment Integrity Management (PEIM) program are adhered to. Working closely and collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Teams, the primary focus will be on the inspection of fixed pressure equipment.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Asset Integrity Inspector/Technologist/Engineer role include:
• Complete inspection plans for the execution of visual internal/external inspections and NDE activities
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Planning Team to review required inspection work and inspection methods
• Review inspection reports and utilize our integrity management software program, considering current and past data, to assign inspection intervals
• Conduct internal and external inspection of pressure vessels, exchangers, and other fixed equipment
• Complete installation inspections on newly installed pressure equipment
• Assess damage to pressure vessels
• Provide recommendations for corrosion mitigation
• Liaise with the Authorized Inspector
• Liaise with the Project Engineering team on new construction
Experience
Required:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil & gas equipment inspection and corrosion mitigation
• ABSA/TSASK In Service Pressure Equipment Inspector Certificate of Competency
• Certification in API 510
• Working knowledge of applicable jurisdictional act & regulations, codes and standards (ASME, API, CSA)
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment with dynamically shifting priorities and deadlines
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
Assets:
• National Board In Service Inspector
• Certification in API 570, API 653, and API 571
• CGSB Level 2 NDE Certification in UT/PT/MT
• CSA W178.2 Level II or Level III Welding Inspector
• NACE Basic Corrosion
• Working knowledge of SAP-PM functionality
• Familiarity using asset integrity management software packages
