The client a Global Oil and Gas organization in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Contracts Engineer to join them for an initial 12-month contract.

- Stakeholder management of subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of services
- Monitoring and updating the subcontracting plan to ensure that key dates within the master project schedule are achieved
- Preparation of standard terms and conditions of subcontract, modified where necessary to incorporate the requirements of the main contract.
- Preparation of “Invitation to Tender” packages in conjunction with Project Engineers.
- Evaluation of tenders, negotiation with tenderers and preparation of “Recommendations of Award” for approval by the Project Manager and Senior Management.
- Evaluation and agreement of subcontractor interim progress claims.
- Assessment, negotiation and agreement of subcontractor variations and claims.
- Ensuring that “Contra Charges” are collated and recovered from subcontractor’s accounts.
- Evaluation, negotiation and agreement of Subcontractor final accounts.
- Forecasting of cost at completion for major subcontractors and suppliers.
- Verification that costs to date, accruals and commitments in respect to subcontractors and major procurement packages are accurate and reconcile with account information.
- Approx 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proactive
- Stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with excel
