The client, a North Sea operator is looking for a Shut Down Coordinator to support pre shut-down planning for 2023.
This is for a fixed term contract for 6 to 8 months initially (with option to extend)
50/50 split between office and offshore working.
Immediate Start, must have up to date offshore certification.
Responsibilities:
* Development of the shutdown work scopes and plans, tracking shutdown related actions, and maintaining effective communications with the onshore and Offshore teams.
* Comply with HSE principles, policies and procedures to execute a safe shutdown.
* Operationally experienced input ensuring shutdowns are realistic and achievable
* Liaise with the onshore and offshore teams as well as vendors
* Together with the TMM and planner, assist with scheduling of the shutdown plan to optimise POB and resource levels
* Assist the TMM for budget relating to the shutdown work scopes
* Organise and lead workshops related to activities detailed in Shutdown work scopes
* Develop pre shutdown work scopes and plan them with assistance from offshore and onshore team
* Monitor progress of all Shutdown Milestones and all Work packs to ensure planned delivery dates are achieved
* Lead Shutdown meetings with onshore / offshore and vendors
* Work together with the planner to create and maintain a Plan, histogram, S curves etc
Experience & Qualifications:
* Predominantly able to perform Supervisory / Superintendent role
* Significant experience in a similar role and / or supervisory role in O&G Industry
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point
* A strong understanding of Offshore Process and Operations
* Strong safety awareness
* Strong technical understanding
* Demonstrable cross discipline leadership capability
