Contract: Cost Engineer / Brisbane

• Monday to Friday - Weekends off

Exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer to work with a Global Green Energy Company in Brisbane who have a consistently growing pipeline of projects within the Renewables industry developing technology solutions for hard-to-decarbonise industries.

This position will be responsible to develop and implement procedures to cost control a large and evolving portfolio of green fleet (Hydrogen / Ammonia) development projects to produce deliverables in line with Client’s and Project’s standards in a fast moving business.

The tasks you'll perform:

• Implementation of procedures to ensure project cost control and budget tracking.
• Execute forecasting and performance analysis.
• Advise on required actions to maintain approved baseline targets.
• Lead the cost control of the operational Projects.
• Maintain up to date CER Budgets and Forecasts.
• Prepare monthly reports and attend cost challenge sessions.

The expertise you'll bring:

• 5 years’ project cost control experience prefreably in the Power & Renewables or Oil & Gas sectors/industries.
• Understanding of project cost control processes and techniques.
• Understanding of project budget and project cost and cash flow analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of project cost control applications.

You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in collaboration with other like-minded team members and adjacent project teams and you must be able to challenge traditional thinking and be prepared to work outside of your comfort zone in a fast moving business!
