Contract: PTW Coordinator / Kingston upon Hull

This role comes with a generous contract rate.


As a flexible PTW Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation of permits for planned maintenance, unplanned and project work, acting as a focal point between Operations, Engineering and Site contract personnel.


In your first few weeks in this PTW Coordinator role, you can expect to:

• Control and issue process plant work permits in line with site procedures
• Maintain an up to date data base for all permits issued providing a monthly report to the HSE Manager on PTW activity
• Work with operations, engineering and contractors to ensure the safe and timely completion of process plant maintenance, and unplanned and project work
• Contribute to the development of method statements, procedures and risk assessments
• Support process plant shutdowns in terms of planning, scope development, documentation and execution of PTW activities

To apply for this PTW Coordinator role, you will need at least two years of experience in a similar supporting role within the petrochemical / chemical process industries. You will also require the following:

• Experience of working at the interface between employer and contract support personnel with the ability to reinforce high HSE standards
• Familiarity with maintenance control and tracking software
• OND / HNC in relevant Engineering / Process discipline or NEBOSH Cert in Health and Safety Management
