Mechanical Engineer / Aberdeen

We have a current opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Aberdeen. For further information about this position please apply.

• Experienced in leading a team Of multi-disciplined team of Engineers also guide and mentor the team in all thing's preparation

Work with Asset Management Team to identify packages of work well in advance of the execution date and in doing so, will maximise equipment outages

• Experienced in backlog management
• Will ensure the teams scope of work are present and correct in the IOP and

Maintenance Plan

• Strong safety awareness
• Will attend critical meetings and represent the preparation team as and when required
• To ensure the team does not create backlog i.e., ensure work is prepared in advance of its LAFD or a deferral is raised before going beyond LAFD
• Proficient at using CMMS and have a good level of ability to investigate and interrogate work orders
• Familiarity with the constraints with carrying out maintenance on an offshore site Provide cost savings initiatives
• To ensure work scopes are prepared to the correct standard
