We are on the lookout for a Senior level HSEQ professional, to join our Oil & Gas client on a permanent basis. Their head office is based Great Yarmouth, and this role requires the individual to be office based 5 days per week.

As part of the role, you will be required to travel overseas & within the UK, visiting clients & suppliers as and when required.

Within the individual, we are looking for someone with significant well stimulation experience, ideally within proppant and acid work. As a minimum, we would expect you to hold a NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) and have a thorough understanding of SDS and COSHH.

Key responsibilities:
  • Maintains HSE standards and policies / procedures
  • Act as main focal point between for the end client, attending face to face meetings
  • Investigate incidents and manage incident reporting, liaising with external parties where applicable
  • Manage and maintain the client's Risk Register
  • Work with departments to manage and maintain the Legal, Business and client requirements register including obligations to comply with ISO accreditations
  • Follow up of corrective actions to ensure effectiveness
  • Lead external audits with assistance from HSEQ, Competency and Training Manager
  • Develop and manage annual HSEQ objectives and targets and provide updated information to the Client during regular meetings
  • Review after action reviews and liaise with the client and employees on effective closure of related HSEQ events
  • Manage Emergency Preparedness and Response drills between clients and contractors
  • Produce Bridging Documents
  • Assist in reviews of Safety Case
  • Manage the day to day activities of the HSEQ Department
  • Prevent the potential escalation of any stimulation operational critical condition
  • Satisfy current legislation, codes of practice and current health and safety organisational requirements
  • Ensure that accidents and incidents are effectively managed and investigated in accordance with Company, client and legislative requirements.
