An exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Electrical Engineer on a Western Australian project on a 12-month contract based in Perth CBD.
The successful candidate will independently perform and deliver detailed engineering packages of work, and satisfy requirements specified by the Client or Project, as well as assisting and supervising the work performed by assigned Engineers and Designers.

The successful candidate will independently perform and deliver detailed engineering packages of work, and satisfy requirements specified by the Client or Project, as well as assisting and supervising the work performed by assigned Engineers and Designers.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- As required by projects / tenders / studies, be responsible for the relevant project’s discipline engineering scope of work. As required by projects / studies, supervise engineers as defined by project organization chart.
- Independently generate engineering deliverables to meet project, statutory rules to project schedule.
- Understand the key discipline requirements when contributing to concept, pre-FEED, FFED and execute phases of projects.
- Be effective, efficient, and fit for purpose in the delivery of solutions and documents.
- Assist the assigned Project Manager / Relevant Engineering Discipline Leader define resource requirements and engineering document deliverables meet project technical and schedule requirements.
- Liaise with Principal Draftsperson on drafting resource requirements for projects. Instruct Drafting Team on engineering drafting requirements for projects.
- Responsible for key interfacing with other engineering disciplines during project execution.
- Participate in formal or informal reporting to Discipline Lead on progress of engineering tasks, budget and schedule progress, lessons learnt and resources.
- Supervise standard discipline engineering performed by Engineering Consultants / Suppliers to meet project rules.
- Attend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to relevant discipline engineering.
- Manage procurement of either permanent or temporary material / equipment associated with relevant discipline engineering.
Skills and Experience required:
- Demonstrated competency in EEHA to plan and design electrical installations, according to AS/NZS 4761, from an RTO within the last 5 years required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant oil and gas engineering discipline
- University Degree in Engineering relevant to the discipline from reputable institution, for instance as recognized by the Institute of Engineers Australia, or international equivalent (IMechE, ICHemE);
